Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

Information you give us:

• Account details: name, email address, phone number and password (passwords are handled by our authentication provider and never stored by us in readable form).
• Professional profiles: profession and specialties, years of experience, license number, state and expiration date, NPI if you provide it, hourly rate range, home ZIP code, availability and a short bio.
• Facility profiles: facility name, address, type, phone, website and EIN if you provide it.
• Activity: shifts posted, applications, approvals and cancellations, ratings you give and receive, messages sent through the platform, and enquiries sent through our contact and early-access forms.
• Preferences: text-message consent and two-step verification settings.

Information collected automatically: your IP address and browser type when you sign up or contact us, sign-in times, and a device token if you enable notifications. We use this to secure accounts and limit abuse.

Payment information: card details are collected and processed by our payment processor, Stripe. We receive a customer reference, the plan, and the status and amount of payments — not your card number.

2. Information we do not collect

PRNMarketplace is not designed to hold patient information. We do not ask for, and you must not submit, Protected Health Information (PHI), medical records, diagnoses or anything that identifies a patient. Because no patient records are meant to pass through the platform, we do not act as a HIPAA Covered Entity or Business Associate.

3. How we use information

• To run the marketplace: search, matching, applications, approvals, scheduling, messaging and ratings.
• To review new accounts before activating them and to prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents.
• To send you messages about your account and shifts, by email, in the app, and by text if you opted in.
• To process subscriptions and keep billing records.
• To keep an audit trail of account and administrative actions.
• To maintain and improve the platform, and to meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising on other sites.

4. What other users can see

The platform exists to introduce Professionals and Facilities to each other, so some profile information is shown to the other side:

• Facilities can see a Professional’s name, profession, experience, rate range, rating, availability and general area. A Professional’s exact home address and coordinates are never shown; map locations are placed at the center of the ZIP code.
• Professionals can see a Facility’s name, location, type, open shifts and rating.
• Ratings are shown as an average and count. The author of an individual rating is not shown to the person rated.

Professionals and Facilities are independent of PRNMarketplace. What they do with information they receive from each other is governed by their own obligations, not this policy.

5. Service providers we share information with

We use other companies to operate the platform, and share with them only what they need to do so:

• Google Cloud and Firebase — hosting, databases, sign-in, in-app messaging and notifications.
• Stripe — payment processing.
• Twilio SendGrid — email delivery, and Twilio for text messages if you opted in.
• Google reCAPTCHA — protection of our sign-up and contact forms from automated abuse. Use of reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
• Google Maps — displaying map views.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, to protect the rights or safety of our users or the public, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use browser storage that is necessary for the platform to work, such as keeping you signed in and remembering in-progress forms. We do not use advertising cookies. reCAPTCHA and the payment processor may set their own cookies when their features load.

7. How we protect information

Information is encrypted in transit and at rest by our hosting provider. Access is limited by role, two-step verification is available on accounts, and administrative actions are recorded in an audit log. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information you send us.

8. How long we keep information

We keep your information while your account is open. When an account is closed we stop showing the profile to other users. We keep records that we need for legal, tax, security and dispute-resolution purposes — for example records of completed shifts, payments and the audit log — and delete or de-identify other personal information when you ask us to, as described below.

9. Your choices and rights

• Access and correction: you can view and update most of your profile from your account, and ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you.
• Deletion: you can ask us to close your account and delete your personal information, subject to the records we must keep.
• Text messages: opt out at any time in your account settings or by replying STOP.
• Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, such as the right to appeal a decision about your request. We will not treat you differently for exercising them.

To make a request, email contact@prnmarketplace.com from the address on your account. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it.

10. Children

PRNMarketplace is for working professionals and organizations. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If a change is material we will tell you through the platform or by email before it takes effect. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
